Mark Potter is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) who has been in senior Finance Management and Business Advisory roles for nearly twenty five years. Mark has had the opportunity to work in both large and medium sized accounting offices in Newcastle and Dubbo over this period. This has allowed Mark to work in and with a wide variety of clients from tradesmen, farmers, professionals, and small to medium sized businesses.
In addition to working in accounting practices, Mark spent a number of years working in his family’s building supply business which allowed him to experience the successes and stresses of running a regionally based business.
Mark is a strong believer in encouraging goal setting which is achievable, measurable and time specific. His passion is to work closely with clients and help them be able to focus on key indicators that drive their business or personal financial position.
Mark has lived and worked in Dubbo and Orange for most of his life, a family man with two teenage children and lovely wife, Mark has always had a passion for trail running and the benefits it brings.
Garry Burton (FIPA, AFPA, GAICD, JP) began his career as a consultant in a large regional business before moving to the Financial Services Industry in 1987 with Colonial Mutual Life. He worked as an Insurance agent initially then progressing to Assistant District Manager. In 1991 he established Goldenwest Services Pty Ltd a multi-agency risk insurance and superannuation business, which then evolved into Goldenwest Financial Solutions, a full service financial planning practice.
Fiona Williamson, our Office Manager and Bookkeeper, has over 15 years of experience in office administration and reception duties and has a Certificate IV in Accounting and is Xero Certified. Fiona has worked in several different industries including the construction, manufacturing, real estate and retail industries. Fiona’s aim is to help make tax compliance as stress free as possible and allow clients to be able to focus on creating their own financial freedom.
Su Sukarti is a Bookkeeper, who has a Master of Business (Accounting and Finance), a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and a Bachelor’s Degree (Economics). She has extensive experience in the accounting programs MYOB and Xero, and has previous work experience in accounting and tax consulting. At Personal Best Accounting Su will ensure all our client liaisons will be as smooth and successful as possible.
